Top 5 Smartphones in India Below 12000 RS

Buying a new phone around 10,000 Rs? Then it is such a challenging task as there are many good phones under 10000 Rs. This is the most competitive price range as the most selling devices in the world are from this range and not the flagship models. And the number of good phones in this range make everybody confused and helpless. Don’t worry though, I am always here to help you out. I have written the latest list of – 10 Best Android Phones under 10000 Rs for the month of February. Read it and compare the phones and choose the best one for you.

1. Micromax Yu Yureka:

Rewind your thoughts to a year earlier and think of which was the best phone to buy under 10,000 Rs then. If you can recall it correctly you will find out that it was the Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 (If you find it difficult to rewind, just take a look at our post from January 2014. Now come back to present and see what we have at just Rs. 9,000 – The Micromax Yu Yureka!!! This phone has completely revolutionized the 10,000 Rs segment. A year earlier you wouldn’t have got the phone with this specs and quality even at 25,000 Rs. So, let’s take a look at the phone. It is powered by a 64-bit Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor which is immensely powerful and currently you get this processor only in the phones which are priced above 20,000 Rs. It has got 2 GB RAM, which makes sure the phone runs pretty smoothly. It runs on the CyanogenMod 11, which gives you tons of extra features & capabilities. It has got a pretty large 5.5 inches screen which is even protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The screen has 720 x 1280 pixels resolution which gives 267 ppi pixel density which is decent at this price. Another important thing is that it has got pretty good cameras with the 13 MP rear and 5 MP front camera. It is good on storage also, it comes with 16 GB internal memory (12.5 GB user accessible) which can be expanded upto 32 GB. With the 2500 mAH Li-ion Battery the phone is good on battery too. Overall, it is undoubtedly the best phone to buy under 10,000 Rs and yes it’s Micromax but the phone is good in quality.

2. Asus Zenfone 5:

The Micromax Yu Yureka is the best but for those who find it very large, this is the perfect phone for this price range. In July 2014, Asus launched the new Zenfone series of phones. And at this price segment we have got the Asus Zenfone 5. It has got the 1.6 GHz Intel dual core processor with 2 GB RAM which delivers exceptional performance and good multi-tasking. The 5 inches HD screen and the display is very good, it has also got the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. One more thing I loved about the phone is, it has increased display sensitivity so you can use the phone even while wearing gloves, this is great for winter season. The phone’s design is sleek and beautiful. It has got good camera and it runs on the Android Kitkat. This phone comes with two storage option 8 GB and 16 GB while both come with the expandable storage. Okay, now one thing I felt could have been better is the phone’s UI, it runs on Asus’s own ZenUI which is good but it can be made even more good-looking. Overall this phone has got most of the things right and gives a balanced user experience at this price.

3. Xiaomi Redmi Note:

This is the 3rd launch of Xiaomi in the Indian Smartphone market and it is yet again a promising Xiaomi smartphone (A legal ban on Xiaomi in India has forced to stop the sale of the Octa Core version of Redmi Note but the 4G Variant of this phone is still available, so here we are considering the Redmi Note 4G). It runs on the Quad Core 1.6 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Processor and 2 GB of RAM which delivers pretty good and fast performance. It sports a big 5.5 inches screen with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution and 267 ppi pixel density, well it’s not great but its good for 10000 Rs. It has got big numbers for the cameras. It features a 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera, the camera quality is decent for the price. The 3100 mAh gives enough juice to the phone. The phone weighs 199 grams and is little on the heavier side but it packs big screen and big battery so its justified. Overall, it offers pretty balanced equations with good performance and decent build quality.

4. HTC Desire 526G Plus:

In a series of new comeback launches from HTC, the recently launched Desire 526G looks like another promising phone. It wins you in the first impression with its beautiful design which is quite similar to the early generation HTC smartphones. But the specifications of the phone are even better. It sports an Octa-core 1.7 GHz Processor with 1 GB of RAM which makes the phone very smooth and lag-free. It has a 4.7 inches screen with a screen resolution of 540 x 960 pixels turning out 234 ppi pixel density. Well this is not amongst the best but if you are buying among HTC, Sony, Samsung in this range you have to satisfy with it only. The phone has good 8 MP rear camera and 2MP front camera and an LED flash at the back. It supports dual sim, has 8 GB internal storage which can be expanded upto 32 GB and has decent battery life with the 2000 mAh battery. Overall, it is a very good choice in this range, specially if you want one from a reputed international brand.

5. Xolo Hive 8X-1000:

This is another very good launch from Xolo. The specialty of this phone is that it is beautiful from outside as well as inside, it runs on top of the Xolo’s customized Android UI which is the Xolo Hive UI. The Hive UI is quite impressive, it has nice designs and good features. It runs on top of Android v4.4.2 (KitKat). Also, the phone has got some powerful hardware. It is powered by Octa-core 1.4 GHz Mediatek MT6592M Processor and 2 GB RAM, this makes the performance of phone very good. You can also enjoy high-end games on this device. The phone sports a 5.0 inches screen with IPS LCD display which has a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The screen is also protected with the Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phone has a 8 MP Rear Camera and a 2 MP Front Camera. It has internal storage of 16 GB which can be expanded upto 32 GB. Overall, the phone comes with nice features and can be a good buying choice.
